Tasks:
.Configuring the SAP HR modules according to business process design and legal requirements for Canadian employees. These include: OM - Organizational Management, PA - Personnel Administration, BN - Benefits, CATS - Cross Application Time Sheet, TM - Time Management, PY - Payroll;

.Responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of SAP HR configuration and functionality for projects or enhancements

.Plans, dsigns and delivers application and process improvements

.Maintains and manages relationships with partners and suppliers

.Facilitates user acceptance processes

.Become familiar with the business processes and business requirements pertaining to ABB Canada HR and payroll management.

.Providing in-depth SAP product knowledge to help support business and project objectives;

.Liaising with HR/Personnel/Payroll user community to identify and manage system priorities;

.Identify potential solutions that could be implemented using SAP.

.Make recommendations as to best overall solution.

.Creating SAP HR/PY deliverables including the preparation of requirements documentation for business processes, functional requirements, documentation of reports, interfaces, and enhancements;

.Performing and coordinating unit, integration, parallel and acceptance tests;

.Preparing deliverables, including documentation and training material; and,

.Assisting development team members in design and testing of interfaces, enhancements, reports, and data conversions.

Requirements:
.A Bachelor's Degree combined with at least seven (7) years SAP HR/PY configuration experience;

.Experience with at least one full-cycle implementation for SAP HR/PY;

.Sound knowledge of project management;

.Exceptional ability to design appropriate solutions and develops logical work plans to deliver projects; identifies process gaps and initiates improvement opportunities

.SAP certification in HR

.The ability to configure OM, PA, BN, CATS, TM, PY;

.Ability to create and maintain both Time and Payroll schemas

.Ability to configure and maintain Tax Models;

.Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills;

.Strong analytical and customer service skills;

.The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;

.Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment;

.The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision;

.Practical experience in using documentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and VISIO

.Proven track record in contribution to successful projects involving multiple departments outside of span of authority

.Knowledge and application of industry best practices in SAP HR

.Solid technical writing abilities including business process design documentation

.Strong written and oral communications (ability to express ideas, thoughts, directions and concepts clearly and concisely)

.Engages clients and takes the imitative to problem solve barriers to implementation

.Capable of facilitating client meetings and working sessions;

.Good influencing skills to enable collaboration and cooperation from multiple business units and resources

.Fosters stability during change by ensuring open and ongoing communication

.Experienced in handling highly confidential corporate information

.Bilingual (French, English).

Asset Qualification:

.Demonstrated experience in organizational change management.

.Project Management certification
