We are searching for a Senior Analyst to provide support on our firm’s practice management applications and systems. This opportunity is located in our National Office located in downtown Toronto, and easily accessible by TTC, GO and highway. The successful incumbent for this intermediate-level position will have extensive work experience in and knowledge of Crystal Reports, as well as work experience in application support and MS SQL 2005.
Primary role objectives:
  • Provides virtual technical support to business unit administrators on a variety of issues
  • Develops Crystal Reports for time and billing application
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Support for the firm’s practice management software system including:
  • Design/writing and modification of complex reports, including writing stored procedures and adhoc scripts
  • Level-two help desk support for time & billing system
  • Troubleshooting application and reporting issues
  • Assistance on integration with other systems
  • Support for administration of SQL server, as required
  • Maintaining system documentation as required
  • Advanced knowledge of and extensive hands-on experience with Crystal Reports for custom report writing
  • Experience with writing stored procedures or a programming language (VB/VBA)
  • Sound working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 administration
  • Requires a relevant undergraduate degree /college diploma, and/or related experience in an IT/back office administrative environment
  • Level-two application support/help desk support experience preferred
  • Experience in database development and design
  • Experience working in a finance and administration environment is preferred
  • Experience with networking environments
  • Experience with practice management software (time & billing systems) is an asset
