SALARY: Level 9 ($71,920 - $89,900 - $107,880)
Salary commensurate with experience

Position Summary:

Provide technology architecture governance, guidance and consulting on the selection and implementation of OLG iGaming initiative. Prepare and advise the team on the development and execution of procurement instruments, integration of the final solution supported by the appropriate management controls from technology architecture perspective.

Major Responsibility Areas:

• Provide guidance and consulting for iGaming technology architecture.
• Develop, establish and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap implications as a result of the iGaming initiative
• Develop and update the Business Architecture to support the business vision for iGaming
• Participate and make recommendations for needed standards resulting from iGaming
• Liaise with the IT architecture team as iGaming proceeds
• Review business drivers, needs and strategies, as well as assessing the implications to the application architectures and roadmaps (Gaming, Lottery and Corporate Services as well as the technology roadmaps and supporting components)
• Assist in the implementation and maturity of Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (CobiT) standards
• Complete the identified technical aspects of the proposed iGaming procurement documents, prepare the criteria for the evaluation of iGaming procurement documents and evaluate iGaming proposals
• Guide and consult the team on the technical implications of the proposed iGaming solution

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires a minimum education level of a University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of ten years experience in Information Services with broad technical experience in a variety of application systems and technologies. Minimum of five years in-depth experience designing and implementing medium to large information solutions.
• Experience with large, complex initiatives resulting from complex problems and new business directions
• Experience in architecting internet solutions for iGaming. Implementation experience with web services and SOA (specifically Software AG) is an asset
• Experience in Siebel configuration, customization and integration is an asset
• Business Architecture (including business capability modeling), Information and Integration Architecture patterns and frameworks is an asset
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols stack and accompanying Web support systems and protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, IPSEC, etc.
• Expertise with DBMS (eg. DB2 and MS SQL Server), data warehousing and business intelligence technologies
• Knowledge of IT trends is required, and knowledge of lottery and gaming industry trends is an asset.
• Previous experience with an iGaming initiative and/or technologies is a definite asset as is experience in a large enterprise class project
• TOGAF 8 and above certification is an asset
• CEH designation is an asset

• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated and consistent problem solving and analytical skills; ability to investigate and analyze information extract the significant details from complex project artifacts and draw conclusions
• Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to change
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
