We have an immediate need for a self-motivated Database Specialist. This is a permanent position for individuals seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity. We'll give you the challenge; you create the future!
The candidate will be responsible for writing advanced SQL procedures and assisting in maintaining and monitoring various parts of the database systems. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or
2008; will be expected to be a logical and disciplined thinker; and have demonstrated success in various aspects of
database development and maintenance. This person must solve technical problems while thinking laterally as part of a team to meet the needs of the company and projects.
? Writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL procedures.
? Assist DBA with database backup and recovery procedures, and other forms of database maintenance.
? Assist developing technical / functional specifications and documentation.
? Assist in investigating new technologies.
? Support or participate in teams on agile development schedules.
? All other responsibilities as assigned.
1. A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
2. Strong problem solving skills
3. Successful completion of a recognized College program or University degree.
4. Database maintenance and development skills using MS SQL Server are required.
1. Microsoft certifications (MCTS, MCITP) or similar credentials.
2. Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
