The Position

Our growing Information Technology consulting practice has an immediate and exciting opportunity in our Ottawa, Ontartio office for a creative GIS software developer to join our Consulting team. This full time position requires excellent written and oral communication;  a willingness to learn constantly; ability to deal with end users and clients; and good interpersonal skills.

The Candidate

As the successful candidate you will have a minimum of 2 years experience developing applications using either .Net or Java with at least two of the following GIS Web Mapping technologies: (a) ESRI and ESRI-related (ArcGIS Server, ArcIMS, IMF, GeoCortex); (b) Opensource (MapServer, MapGuide); (c) Intergraph(GeoMedia); (d) Google Maps/KPI; and (e) Bing Maps.  Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle is an asset. Experience with projects involving environmental management, asset management, enterprise spatial data management or mobile/location-based services is an asset. Government of Canada experience is strongly preferred.
