Temporary PROGRAMMER ANALYST
The City of Cambridge is currently accepting applications for the position of Temporary Programmer Analyst in the Technology Services Division of the Corporate Services Department (temporary one year position).
Reporting to Manager of Technology Services Development, you will act as project leader for systems and application development; review, prioritize, and schedule request from clients; develop configuration design and technical specification to meet systems and clients need. Responsibilities include but not limited to general programming, integration activities, maintenance and administration of existing systems. Desired skills include programming in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET; strong background in 3-tier web environment; experience with J2EE architecture; and hands-on experience with web development tools and technology, particularly JAVA, JSP, HTML and XML. Strong knowledge with Oracle database 10/11g, SQL 2005/2008, WebSphere performance tuning and troubleshooting, proficient in PL/SQL procedures and SQL scripting is a must. Preferred candidate should have exposure to MAXIMO 6/7 Business Object, Intermediate knowledge of Maximo Administration task and experience with Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA). Working knowledge of BIRT reporting tool is a plus.

This is a unionized position within our inside bargaining unit and the current annual salary range is $52,606. to $61,798. Hours of work, Monday to Friday, are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
