Annual salary of $71,113 to $88,883 plus an excellent benefit package

Main Purpose & Function
The SAP Business Analyst is responsible for working closely with managers and SAP users across the organization to support business needs; and deliver SAP related solutions to achieve optimum results.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Major responsibilities will include providing timely and expert SAP advice; analyzing and recommending alternatives and implementing improvements to business processes and procedures; developing, modifying and maintaining SAP configuration; coordinating and maintaining test scripts and scenarios to ensure adequate testing of business processes and configuration/schema changes; participating in system upgrades; supporting the development and
ongoing maintenance of corporate reporting; and documenting all configuration and process changes to SAP. The SAP Business Analyst will also deliver presentations and training to users throughout the organization, maintain and update training materials; and continually upgrade technical knowledge and skills to meet business needs in a rapidly changing SAP environment.

A diploma in Information Technology or a related business degree and SAP certification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of related business or technology experience and at least 2 years of proven SAP implementation
and/or support experience. You have experience in developing and changing business processes within a municipality or other large, complex organization; strong analytical and problem solving skills; good internal consulting skills; excellent oral, written, presentation and facilitation skills; demonstrated excellence in providing customer service and a good working knowledge of office productivity tools (including Windows, Word, Excel, MS Project, MS Access). You have demonstrated experience and ability to work with highly confidential information, exercising discretion, tact and diplomacy. Must have strong configuration and functional knowledge of the SAP SRM and MM applications as well as experience with one or more of the following: CO, FI, PS, PM, RE, AM. Knowledge and experience with SAP workflow, SAP BI/BW and Enterprise Portal is considered an asset.
