IT Business Analyst

Chevron Canada Limited is now accepting applications for the position of IT Business Analyst in Vancouver, BC.

Locally, Chevron Canada Limited (CCL) is a major refiner and marketer of a wide range of petroleum products in British Columbia, with head offices in Vancouver and refining facilities located on Burrard Inlet in Burnaby, B.C.
- Provides Project Management to projects and small enhancements of Chevron Canada’s IT systems. Provides work direction and leadership to project teams, including team resource management and task prioritization. Develops project budgets and is accountable to deliver projects on time and budget.
- Leverage relevant business knowledge and technical expertise to provide system support for Canada ERPs and other custom applications supported primarily on SAP, Microsoft VB, Microsoft SQLServer and Microsoft Access platforms
- Works in collaboration with other Chevron teams to plan and implement global projects at Chevron Canada
- Be able to identify, document and communicate high value projects where IT can enable the business.
As part of the Canada IT Team, you will have demonstrated relationship building and facilitation skills, and have a thorough understanding of business analysis tools and methods. The ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills are also critical. Interested applicants should have at least 5 years and ideally more than 10 years of experience in an IT environment and possess an IT related undergraduate degree, technical college certification or extensive work experience. Formal training in SAP, Business Analysis or Project Management would be considered an asset.
