Reporting directly to the SAP Project Systems Team Lead in Calgary, the SAP
PS/PM Analyst plays a key role in supporting SAP PS/PM business processes.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide in-depth SAP PS/PM product knowledge to help support business and project objectives;
-Configure the SAP system according to new or changing business requirements;
-Support both on-going Onsite projects and production support as required;
-Representation in the weekly transport configuration meeting;
-Manage assigned PS/PM footprints tickets to resolution;
-Liaise with Operations User community to identify and manage system priorities;
-Provide end user support and guidance;
-Assist with the building of SAP Super User community;
-Perform and coordinate unit, integration and acceptance tests;
-Prepare deliverables, including documentation and training material;
-Assist Development Team members in design and testing of interfaces, enhancements, reports and data conversions in the Development & Quality System for implementation in the Production System;
-Develop cross functional skills over time in SAP Materials Management, Finance, Business Intelligence etc.;
-Develop in-depth knowledge of SAP cross module integration points;
-Participate in and work towards successful completion of Newalta's in-house Project Management Certification Program.
Minimum Qualifications and Relevant Experience Required:
-Post-secondary degree in business (BCOMM.) or related field; college equivalent may be considered
-Previous experience must include demonstrated multiple full cycle implementations of the PS/PM module
-Proven SAP PS/PM configuration experience with a minimum of 2 years of PS and 1 year PM required
-SAP Certification in PS/PM is considered an asset
-Knowledge of SAP master data and transactional data including: Work Breakdown Structures; Projects; General Ledger; Chart of Accounts; Material Master; Equipment Masters; Customer and Vendor Masters aswell as interfaces to other modules is beneficial
-Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, conflict management and resolution skills
-A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment;
-Experience in Project Management and/or SAP Business Intelligence is considered an asset
-Fluency in French/English is considered a strong asset
